‘Bocchi the Rock’ and Ajikan

The finale of the anime ‘Bocchi the Rock’ was recently aired, and it had a cover of ‘Korogaru Iwa, Kimi ni Asa ga Furu’ as an ending. Let’s check all the details on the connection between this anime and Asian Kung-Fu Generation.

Manga and anime ‘Bochhi the Rock’ have many connections to Asian Kung-Fu Generation. This is a story about the high school all-girls band Kessoku Band, whose singer (and the main character) is nicknamed Bocchi (ã�¼ã�£ã�¡), and Asian Kung-Fu Generation’s singer Masafumi Gotoh is nicknamed Gotch or Gocchi (ゴッãƒ�) in Japanese.
The creators used many homages to Asian Kung-Fu Generation, like this manga frame being a copy of a moment from the ‘Rewrite’ MV:
