Kensuke Kita featured on bonus track of Japanese Edition of Ash’s New Album

Ash performance with Kensuke Kita at Nano Mugen Fes. 2011 feature as bonus track for their new album ‘Ad Astra’.
Ash, a Northern Irish rock band, release new album called ‘Ad Astra’ on 3 October 2025. The album includes 12 songs with Blur guitarist Graham Coxon features on two songs, Fun People and Ad Astra.
The Japanese edition of this album will be released by Masafumi Gotoh’s label, only in dreams. Alongside 12 new tracks, the album features bonus tracks from Ash performance with Asian Kung-Fu Generation’s guitarist Kensuke Kita at Nano-Mugen Festival 2011.
This month, the band will tour in Japan with Asian Kung-Fu Generation, titled “Nano-Mugen Circuit 2025 Ash × AKG Split tour” in five prefectures.
The schedule for the concerts is as follows:
- 14 October – Zepp Fukuoka (Fukuoka)
- 16 October – Zepp Osaka Bayside (Osaka)
- 17 October – Zepp Nagoya (Nagoya, Aichi)
- 20 October – SENDAI GIGS (Sendai, Miyagi)
- 21 October – KT Zepp Yokohama (Yokohama, Kanagawa)
Additionally, Ash will hold a special talk show and signing session with Ken as a guest star on 19 October 2025 at Tower Records Shinjuku. The event is free and open to public.
