Information about the ‘Shukuen’ single

On 5 December, it was confirmed that Asian Kung-Fu Generation were recording a song for the new Boruto anime opening — ‘Shukuen’. Now, we know the titles of all songs the upcoming single will have. So, let’s take a look at the information about the ‘Shukuen’ single we know so far.
The single titled ‘Shukuen’ (宿ç¸�, Karma) will be released on 8 September. The title song will feature as an opening for the Boruto anime.
Tracklist:
The second track — ‘Weather Report’ — will be sung by Kensuke Kita. And ‘Nissaka Downhill’ will be included in the ‘Surf Bungaku Kamakura’ sequel — we wrote about it in May 2022. All this information is official and shared on the band’s Twitter.
The single will be present in two editions: the regular will contain the disc itself, while the limited one will also contain a Blu-ray with a recording of the band’s performance at Hibiya Open Air Concert Hall on 23 July during the ‘Planet Folks Tour’.

UPD: Now, it seems it’s not a part of the cover but a part of the single booklet.
As can be seen, there are several references to the Naruto series: a leaf, kunai, shuriken, the Akatsuki logo, and so on.
On 20 January, we’ve got a final cover art for the single.

The band shared the recording of ‘Solanin’ from the Blu-ray which will be a part of the Limited edition of the single.
