On 22 February, Kiyoshi Ijichi visited the Indonesian capital and played his own programme—360° Special Drumming Session. And this is our report on the event.
Before the event
The first announcement was done by Orutaku Karaoke Club on 7 February. However, it was kept sort of a secret as for who exactly would come to Jakarta. But people in the comment were fast enough to solve the organisers’ riddle. The final announcement came on 10 February, stating that on 22 February, Kiyoshi Ijichi would visit the karaoke party held by Orutaku Club to play his drumming session. The whole event was organised by the recently established Indonesian branch of the Asian Kung-Fu Generation management company Spectrum Management.
The line-up was presented by the club on 12 February, announcing the start time, DJs, MC and the venue.
On 18 February, four days before the event, Orutaku Club shared a message from Kiyoshi.
Later, on 21 February, Kiyoshi posted an Instagram story in which he was cooking somewhere in Jakarta.
During the event
The venue was opened at 17:30 local time. At 18:30, the DJ set by Redshift started. At 19:30, Kiyoshi answered some questions from the MC and the fans. The drumming session itself started at 20:00 and lasted for an hour (until 21:00), after which the second DJ set—by Bankzoup—started.
